Performance Evaluation Of AWS Cloud Instances
Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) serves as our scalable computing platform for conducting these performance evaluations. Amazon EC2 is designed to meet diverse business needs by offering secure, efficient, and flexible cloud instances. Its variety of instance types caters to a wide spectrum of workloads, including general-purpose computing, memory-intensive applications, and high-performance tasks.
This report presents comprehensive findings from Infobell IT's extensive and independent performance benchmarking of Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) top two general-purpose instances, each with 16vCPU. The instances evaluated include:
- m7i.4xlarge : Intel® Xeon® Platinum 8488C (Sapphire Rapid)
- m7a.4xlarge : AMD EPYC™ 9R14 (Genoa)
