High-performance compute platforms are increasingly evaluated based on their ability to deliver scalable throughput while maintaining efficiency across modern multi-core architectures. As enterprise workloads continue to demand higher compute density and improved performance efficiency, understanding processor-level performance characteristics has become critical for informed infrastructure decisions.

This paper presents Infobell IT’s independent performance evaluation of Intel® Xeon® 6776P and 6726P processors and AMD EPYC™ 8534P and 8635P processors using the industry-standard SPEC CPU®2017 Integer Rate (SPECint_rate2017) benchmark. The study focuses on multi-core integer throughput performance under consistent system configurations and a unified GCC 13 software environment, enabling a fair and transparent comparison across processor architectures.

The evaluation highlights differences in aggregate throughput, scaling behavior, and power efficiency across the evaluated configurations. The findings provide insights into throughput-oriented performance and efficiency characteristics, helping organizations better understand processor performance for high-throughput, compute-intensive workloads. Results for select configurations are preliminary and are included to provide early performance indicators for next-generation platforms.
